WA’s most prestigious boutique music festival is in its fourth year and the line-ups promise to keep getting better.
On the September long weekend, head directly inland for 3.5 hours to the edge of the desert to the town of Hyden; home of the ancient formation of Wave Rock and underneath the power and energy of the great rock itself you’ll find the Wave Rock Weekender.
Saturday’s musical good times will start after the grand final telecast and will be full of cerebral music that will help you settle into the weird and wonderful terrain around wave rock.
Sunday’s bill builds up from Saturday’s city-slicker exorcism with intimate acoustic beginnings around brunch that twists and turns upwards into a diverse and interesting selection of styles to see out the weekend.
