Project Mayhem launch WA GoldCompilation

Aligning with the final night of 2009’s Next Big Thing Competition, last year’s Next Big Things Project Mayhem will show you what can be accomplished in a year when they unleash the product of their winnings upon the Perth public.
Their WA Gold compilation features 20 of Perth’s freshest rock’n’roll/swamp/electro-punk sounds. They have compiled and recorded tracks by such diverse acts as Tomas Ford, The Devil Rides Out, The Kuilloteens, FAIM Project, Cal Peck & The Tramps, Mongrel Country, Cat Black, The Painkillers, zxspecky and many more.
Project Mayhem’s contribution to the release, Dogs Milk, produced by Sean O’Callaghan (John Butler etc), is an exclusive track which won’t be released elsewhere.
The CD will be launched in style this Friday night 24 July at the Rocket Room. Project Mayhem will headline an all star cast including Cal Peck & The Tramps, The Kuilloteens, Bible Bashers, and FAIM Project. Doors at 8pm, $10 entry, and all punters will receive WA Gold free.
