Sat 18th Jul, 2009 in Local News
Phil Jamieson will play a solo charity gig at The Promethean on September 12. The show is being hosted by the childrens charity Variety, with all proceeds going towards buying specially made play equipment for disabled kids.
The event is part of the Variety’s Kickin 4 Kids fundraiser in which 15 South Australians are aiming to raise $250,000 by October this year. In return for donations, each participant will be undertaking a gruelling week of walking, kayaking and cycling around Kangaroo Island. Each participant needs to raise a minimum of $10,000 each through unique initiatives such as this event.
Tickets are limited due to the intimate nature of The Promethean and are available from Venue*Tix.
