Time is ticking and the countdown is on for the first live music show to be hosted by group of dynamic young people from Distorted Events at the Northern Sound System (73 Elizabeth Way, Elizabeth) on Thursday July 16.

This new and exciting youth development program evolved in early 2009 with a core focus on equipping young people with practical skills in event planning.

Their inaugural Tick Tick Boom will sure to go off with five energetic and eager bands taking the stage including Taken by Chance, Sometime Soon, Princess Drive, Within Reason and Not for the Innocent.

Distorted Events is managed by a group of seven core young people who meet weekly and volunteer their time to plan and deliver exciting music and arts focused opportunities for youth in the local and broader community. Tick Tick Boom is only the first of many more innovative youth events to follow.

Doors for this licensed all ages show open at 6.30pm with all tickets $10 available pre sale or at the door.
