There are just a few weeks left before the annual pilgrimage to Belongil Fields, so it’s time to get planning. The timetable for Splendour In The Grass has now been released, helping you decide where you want to be over the weekend.

Will it be Bloc Party or The Happy Mondays? The Flaming Lips or Hilltop Hoods? Josh Pyke or the Happy High Herbs Tent? All these brain-busting decisions and more await just below.

Dananananaykroyd and The Middle East clash annoys me. White Lies and Friendly Fires overlap is a tad disappointing too. Otherwise very positive time table.

So keen for Specials/Jane's/Bloc.

Big drinking gap after Manchester... this is what did my liver in on Saturday last year.... I wouldn't exactly be crying myself to sleep if I missed anything for hours after them given I've seen You Am I about 500 times.. Then you get a bunch of McLennan and Supertop overlaps starting from the Specials onwards.. Ha.. I'll be racing back and forth.. At least Sunday is a little more spread out.
Don't get me wrong, I'll enjoy Sat arvo and get into the guys playing on the day.. just it's a bit of a swathe of ex-unearthed bands til 5pm - yeah yeah I know it's not all that, and some of them are quite good - but at least on Sunday you've got White Lies and Friendly Fires between 2:45 and 4:15.. both overlapping and Throsby as well.. shame one of those couldn't be shifted to the same timeslot the day before to have an international break up the locals. It's not as if I'm not going to be able to see YKB > Little Red > Bluejuice a dozen times by accident at other festivals over the next year.

Manchester and Dananan could both be on an hour or two later. Oh well.. Going to have to be there early.


I didn't actually think Bloc Party would be headlining over Jane's.. Doesn't affect anything though. Except maybe if I need to leave early at least I won't have missed Jane's.
Sunday and Sat night will be jam packed though.. Should be epic. At least I can target some Sat arvo bands to brush up on now I guess.. I've got a few Ep's... to myspace I go...
