Plus One Records are having a showcase at The Zoo next Saturday night, and if you love loud, bullshit-free, home-grown rock’n’roll, it certainly sounds like the place to be.

Back from the core of yore, Rollerball will be launching their latest album Submarine . Mexico City will be all indie guns blazing after touring their new album Brown Bird. The Black Water Fever will thicken the air with their viscous swamp riffs and Black Mustang are promising another night of pure rock that is sure to fit just nicely with some warming shots of whiskey. With guest DJ Scarecrow Wallace of The Smokestack Orchestra spinning discs in between each set, a quality night is guaranteed.

The first hundred punters through the door will also receive a free Plus One 16 track compilation CD The Australianacity Of Hope featuring some of Brisbane’s best bands.
