After Dance Gavin Dance was announced last month as the first act for Soundwave Festival 2010, another booking has been let out of the bag. According to the Soundwave Twitter feed, Canadian psychobilly quartet The Creepshow will be making the trek down under.

The band released its second album, Run For Your Life, last year, cementing their reputation for frenzied, primal punk. Led by frontwoman Sarah Sin, The Creepshow is currently locked in for a leg of the Warped Tour as well as several festivals around Europe. In the words of the Dallas Observer: “The Creepshow gleefully celebrate at that mythical place where Iggy Pop and Elvira reign as King and Queen of camp and chaos.”

We can only assume the Soundwave 2010 line-up will continue to be drip-fed over coming months, with plenty of rumours circulating about big headliners. As always, FasterLouder will keep you posted.
