The Foundry gets behind localoriginal bands

The inaugural Foundry Band Comp commences this coming
Wednesday the 1st July. Spots are still available for heats but you’ll need to email through your interest today.

Heats will take place at The Foundry on every Wednesday throughout July with the series final being held in week 5.

Judging will be based on Crowd Response, Presentation, Professionalism and Originality. Any genre is acceptable, but it must be your original material. Each Heat will be a contest between five bands all with a 30 minute set each. With the winner announced on the night. A judges choice wildcard will also be thrown into the mix.

The Series Final Winner receives;

$1000 Cash
$100 Voucher from Kosmic Sound
1 Day Free Recording at Soundbaker Studio
