Future Of The Left for FallsFestival?

Having pulled out of their January 2009 tour to focus on recording, Future Of The Left look set to make up for it this summer. Speaking to FasterLouder last week, forthright frontman Andy Falkous revealed they are in talks to appear at the mighty Falls Festival.

“It looks like that’s going to happen around the turn of the year,” he said. “I think we’re going to do the Falls Festival at the end of the year, but that isn’t officially confirmed yet – so if it all falls through, please blame somebody else!”

FOTL’s second record Travels With Myself and Another is currently enjoying pride of place as the FasterLouder Album Of The Week. It’s so good, we can forgive the guys for jilting us to make it. In the words of our reviewer: “It may run for just over half an hour, but when those heart-stopping 33 minutes are packed with more than most bands could hope to achieve in a lifetime, who’s complaining?” Hopefully it’s not long before we hear these incendiary new songs live…
