When the penny dropped and it was made clear that Nick Littlemore would not be participating in Empire Of The Sun’s live debut at this year’s Parklife festival (read about it here), we all wondered what it was that was keeping Nick away. Well, it would seem as though the studio wild-man has been busy with his first love Pnau, preparing the band’s new album for release before the year’s out.

According to IMC News, Littlemore and his Pnau partner Peter Mayes have been holed up in the US, feverishly working on their next record, which, along with a revamped live show, will hit Australian shores before the end of 2009. We thought Nick was looking a little sidelined in those Empire Of The Sun music videos – the Christ Complex Ego will suffer no such indignities.
