Beguiling songstress Sarah Blasko is returning to the road in October, after hiding away to record new album As Day Follows Night. As she told the audience at the Sydney Writer’s Festival last month, Blasko wrote the record in her manager’s Sydney office. After relishing the 9-5 discipline, she set off to Sweden to record the songs with producer Björn Yttling, of Peter, Björn and John.
She’s set to grace the G.W McLennan stage stage at Splendour In The Grass in July, before embarking on a headline circuit a few months later. Her round of shows includes a three-night run at the The Quarry Amphitheatre in Perth – an incredible natural setting that should compliment her music perfectly. The rest of the dates are indoors, but no less enticing.
Sarah Blasko will play the following shows in October and November. Tickets on sale 3 July.
Thursday 1 October – Theatre Royal, Castlemaine
Friday 2 October – The Forum, Melbourne
Saturday 3 October – Norwood Concert Hall, Adelaide
Friday 9 October – The Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Saturday 10 October – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Thursday 12 November – The Quarry, Perth
