Morbid Angel got June off to a heavy start which you can relive, thanks toGoatlady and OriginalSin But then Necro got himself arrested for picking a fight with someone and had to cancel – again.

Making review number two, Belle89 hit Rocket Room to check out Genghis’ launch but she missed the 90 minute extrippaganza that was the French Rockets Late Night Live set. Those with the stamina and energy drinks witnessed a truly entertaining set complete with VJ to replace the lights and fog that is their normal fare.

In a stroke of genius, local bands are discovering new venues to play live in, with Rollerdrome getting the Injured Ninja treatment. There are hints of more roller rink gigs to come, so get ready to get your 80s on… oh, wait.

Schici loved The Novocaines at Rocket Room and Squagz made dance-shapes at NASA while Stephholt got a dance of a psychotic flavour on with Bluejuice.

Owencord and OriginalSin were unleashing the extreme one day before Jeff Martin entertained a whole Armada of Fasterlouder crew. Matthewtompsett and Owencord gave us their skills.

Evermore surprised some fans with their concept-swipe at the superficial, as witnessed by Frog_e and Sharpshooter (who was shooting sharply indeed) giving credence to her Kiss My WAMi inclusion.

And of course, The Next Big Thing kicked off and will run all the way through the month and into July in a quest to find, well.. the Next Big Thing.
