Gallows rip it up in Oz

Punk dissidents Gallows are set to bring the sound of Grey Britain to Australia in September. Having delivered a blistering debut album Orchestra Of Wolves in 2006, the band returned with its second call-to-arms last month.

FasterLouder’s reviewer said of Grey Britain: “When [frontman] Frank Carter speaks, screams and sings, he doesn’t bullshit…The quintet has established a persona that doesn’t give a shit about you, your government or NME’s cool list. This is an apocalyptic, relentless and uncompromising portrayal of where we stand in the world.”

That ferocity is also channelled into the Gallows live show, which we’ll get to experience first-hand in a matter of months. Steel yourself for a shake-up.

Gallows play the following shows on their Australian tour. Tickets on sale Thursday 2 July.

Tuesday 22 September – Fowlers, Adelaide (All Ages)
Thursday 24 September – The Hi Fi, Melbourne (Under 18)
Friday 25 September – The Hi Fi, Melbourne (18+)
Saturday 26 September – UNSW Roundhouse, Sydney (All Ages)
Sunday 27 September – The Hi Fi, Brisbane (18+)
