Sharp-tongued piano man Ben Folds hasn’t lost any of his pull in Australia, announcing a second show at the Sydney Opera House. The visit was originally billed as – œone night only’ in Melbourne, but the Harbour City swiftly got a look-in.

Folds will return to the venue where he played four sold-out nights with the Sydney Symphony in 2006. With tickets to the Monday 31 August show almost gone, an encore performance has been added for Tuesday 1 September. Expect this one to sell just as briskly.
