Shihad back in September
Wed 3rd Jun, 2009 in Local News
Currently in the throes of recording its eighth album, Shihad will come out of hiding in September for some close-quarters shows. The band briefly known as Pacifier last gave our stages a shake-up in August 2008, as support on Gyroscope’s – œAustralia’ tour.
In between work on a follow-up to Beautiful Machine, the Wellington lads have been rehearsing for a series of special performances planned for their home country this November. On seven separate nights, the band will play each of their seven albums in chronological order. While we won’t be getting anything that involved in September, you can be sure of the signature Shihad fieriness.
In addition to the gigs in Sydney and Melbourne, Shihad is set to appear at Brisbane’s Sounds Of Spring Festival.
Shihad play these shows in September. Tickets on sale Tuesday 9 June.
Friday 18th Sept – ANNANDALE HOTEL, Sydney
Friday 25th Sept – CORNER HOTEL, Melbourne
Saturday 26th Sept – SOUNDS OF SPRING FESTIVAL, Brisbane
