Prolific prog-metallers Queensrÿche will once again leave their mark on Australia this winter. The tour has been billed as – œExtended Suites: Rage For Order/American Soldier/Empire’, suggesting the band will be focusing closely on those three albums from 1986, 1990 and 2009 respectively.

American Soldier is Queensrÿche’s latest offering, which has laid the groundwork for another of their exhaustive world circuits. This will be the second Antipodean visit for Queensrÿche, after their debut jaunt in 2006. Going by overseas reports, they’re still hitting the three hour mark at shows, with bombast and stage props aplenty.
