The Annandale's birthday week
Tue 26th May, 2009 in Local News
Sydney’s favourite rock den The Annandale Hotel is celebrating its ninth birthday this June over nine back-to-back nights. Matt and Dan Rule reinstated the Annandale as a live music institution nine years ago, and it’s still firing. Time to raise a glass, then.
The liver-testing marathon kicks off on Friday 26 June with one-man hurricane Bob Log III. The following night, My Filthy Riot returns to showcase some of the best this country has to offer. No line-up details have yet been revealed, but FL will be watching closely.
There are headline shows from loose-limbed troubadour Jack Ladder and burly electro-rockers MM9, plus plenty more. The closing night – Saturday 4 July – is yet to be filled, but you can sure it’ll be a large one.
