The rockin’ posse here at FasterLouder Qld are super excited to be kicking off our new series of events with the inaugural FasterLouder Study Break Party.

We’ve pulled together four of Australia’s “new crops” of 2009 to party with you in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba over the uni break (that can’t come fast enough!) this June. So, down those tools, slam the laptop shut and treat yourself to some of the very best music this country has to offer. With a line up like this at a price you CAN afford, how can you refuse????

Villains of Wilhelm were the undeniable winners of the 2009 Garage to V Festival, winning the national touring slot. Witnessing the sexy swagger of Jagger-esq singer Danny Wilhelm leaves no doubt as to why this band is storming the country with their punk rock hooks.

The Dawn Collective (Sydney) have just released their long awaited Save a Place for Us, produced by acclaimed producer Tim Whitten. The band has been steadily capturing the attention of Sydney audiences for a few years and are about to embark on a national tour.

Critically-acclaimed Drawn from Bees are lending their four part vocal harmonies fresh from their slot at V Festival and supporting Little Red and Ground Components. The band is currently on a National tour for their second release And the Blind Shall Lead the Way.

For the Brisbane show you will no doubt be mesmerized but the honey-eyed crooning of songstress Chloe Turner. Chole is fast becoming the darling of the Brisbane alt-folk scene with her stunning live performances.
