Oh Mercy for Free!

With the global recession well and truly kicking your hip pocket and a gloomy budget all over the news, what better way to shake off those financial blues than with a free gig!

To celebrate the release of their debut EP In The Nude For Love, Oh Mercy are heading down to 78 Records in Perth to perform a special all-ages free acoustic gig. The show starts at 2pm on 30 May instore. Oh Mercy will perform an acoustic set of songs from the EP and also their forthcoming debut long player Privileged Woes.

Having toured solo Western Australia last year with Sparkadia, Oh Mercy vocalist Alexander Gow is bringing the whole band this time for a special run of shows supporting Little Birdy part of their comeback national tour.

Oh Mercy have been likened to Augie March, The Panics and The Go-Betweens, and it doesn’t take long for the dreamy melodic pop stylings of Seemed Like A Good Idea and Lay Everything On Me to get under your skin.

If you miss out on seeing Oh Mercy at 78 Records, you can catch them supporting Little Birdy at Capitol (Perth), Settlers Tavern (Margaret River) and Prince of Wales (Bunbury).
