Event organisers for Brisbane underground music festival Children of the Swarm have announced that early bird tickets to the one day event are selling out fast in a recent update on their website.

Early birds will save you $8 on your entry, leaving you more bucks for beer, so if you are already planning on unleashing yourself upon the RNA Showgrounds this April and throwing yourself around in front of the likes of Strike Anywhere, Sommerset, Death:Wolf!, Gazoonga Attack and The Disables you’d better get in quick.

The fully licensed, all-ages event promises 25 bands on two stages for 12 hours straight with market stalls, DJs and giveaways from Beserk Clothing, Wild at Heart Tattoos, Moshpit Music, Skaterade and Skinnys Music during the day-long event. Remember to bring ID if you want to drink.

The lineup as at 1 March is:

The Children of the Swarm website is promising to have band bio and MP3 pages up soon, so check back regularly to see what’s going on.

The festival kicks off at 12pm on 2 April 2005 and runs until midnight. Tickets cost $48 +bf and are limited to 3000, available Friday 4th February from the following outlets:
