Dinosaur Jr. has returned in full feedback-drenched glory with fifth album Farm. The record is due out in Australia on 26 June and FasterLouder has secured lead single, I Want You To Know, for free download.
The band is obviously relishing the return to the original line-up of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph, with 2007’s Beyond a fiery welcome back. I Want You To Know offers that classic stoner-pleasing grunginess with a pop sensibility that has become a Dinosaur Jr. hallmark. It certainly augers well for the release of Farm.
