Set to represent Australia alongside Tame Impala at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival, the Temper Trap look to have a bright future in the nation. According to Billboard’s – Ĺ“Biz’ section, Japanese tastemaker Hostess Entertainment will release the Melbourne band’s album Conditions later this year. It’ll be timed to follow the Temper Trap’s live debut in Japan at Summer Sonic. Hostess has made the signing in conjunction with UK label Infectious Records.
“There really hasn’t been a more complete new band in recent times – from writing, to performing to pure attitude, so we’re honoured to be working alongside Infectious to help introduce them here,” Hostess Entertainment founder Andrew Lazonby said in a statement.
