With The Getaway Plan soon to be retired, frontman Matthew Wright is forging on with new project Young Heretics. Fans of his prior incarnation may be a little surprised. A collaboration between Wright and fellow vocalist Kitty Hart, Young Heretics deal in dreamy, fashion-mag-friendly pop.

The pair is set to release a debut album We Are The Lost Loves later this year, with the lead single The Lost Loves now available for public scrutiny. Before The Getaway Plan’s final tour kicks off, Young Heretics have two low-key gigs lined up in Melbourne. The Lost Loves, which sees Wright take more of a background role, can be downloaded at the We Like It Indie site.
