Veteran hellraiser and serious golfer Alice Cooper is heading back our way in August. The man was last here but a year ago to spruik his album Along Came A Spider. This time, though, he’ll mostly be tackling cavernous arenas converted to – œtheatre mode’.

It’s fitting, then, that the tour is under the banner – œTheatre of Death’, with the promise to “shock and thrill his legions of Australian fans”. Whether there are many shocks left in his bag of tricks remains to be seen, but a highly entertaining show is guaranteed. This return visit is part of an extensive 2009 tour, which sees Cooper tied up until December.
