Screamfeeder play Kitten Licksacross the nation
Sun 26th Apr, 2009 in Local News
In the spirit of the recent spate of – œdon’t look back’ tours from prominent artists, local legends Screamfeeder have decided to do something special and delight all of us who still rate Kitten Licks as one of the top Australian albums of all time with a series of shows where they’ll play their breakthrough hit-after-radio-hit album in its entirety.
Kicking off in Brisbane on Saturday May 9, Screamfeeder are set to bring the tour to Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth across May, June and July, taking fellow indie stablemates Midget and others along for the ride.
A special new bonus edition of Kitten Licks, including six b-sides from the original singles and new packaging, will be remastered and re-released for the tour. With the band considering writing a new album together this year and thus the motivation in the group riding high, these shows will be a perfect opportunity to catch the energy, panache and aplomb of Screamfeeder at their best.
Stay tuned as we chat to front man Tim Steward and bring you coverage of the gigs right here on Fasterlouder.
