If you haven’t already heard, Jesse – œThe Devil’ Hughes landed in Australia this week to play four ass-shaking shows with The Eagles Of Death Metal.

FasterLouder is sweating in anticipation of seeing our favourite ranga get his ‘Heart On’ and we’ve decided we want you to sweat with us. To help get your blood pumping we have nabbed five double passes to give away to FL members for the EODM Sydney show at Luna Park this Saturday 25th.

Was a really great night, although I actually think Kram put on a better performance than EODM. He was just so much more energetic and entertaining.

What was the EODM lineup like this time? Was it just Jesse and the drummer?

It was Jesse along with a second guitarist, bassist, and a drummer (not Josh).

I thought EoDM were great. Jesse is entertaining on stage and I enjoyed his interaction with the crowd. Very few singers seem to talk to the crowd much at all these days and often the ones that do do it poorly or way too much.

I found Kram's stuff very derivative and not very interesting. Sure he's a decent performer, but I find his stuff pretty middle of the road.

The EoDM cover of Stuck in the Middle with you was fantastic.

I thought when he played Beat on the Brat by the Ramones by himself it was a little self indulgent. He should have just gone into Brown Sugar and brought the band back on then. Brown Sugar was great fun though.
