N.A.S.A. lock in club dates

Having invited everyone on the hipster Rolodex to guest on their debut album Spirit Of Apollo, N.A.S.A. are bound for Australia. The duo was announced on the line-up for Canberra’s Warehouse Winter Music Festival last month, and national club dates have now been added.

With the likes of Karen O, Tom Waits, Chuck D, David Byrne and Kanye West left at home, it’s fair to wonder just what a N.A.S.A. live show entails. After all, we’ve been burned by Handsome Boy Modelling School in the past.

According to the tour spiel, Sam Spiegel and Ze Gonzales “take to the stage in their orange space suits with dueling pairs of decks and a massive visuals supplied by the likes of Shepard Fairey and Marcel Dzama.” Oh well, we can still dream that M.I.A. and George Clinton will be waiting in the wings.

N.A.S.A. launch at the following shows this June.

Thursday 4 – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Friday 5 – The Esplanade Hotel, Melbourne
Saturday 6 – Shape Nightclub, East Perth
Sunday 7 – Winter Warehouse Festival, Canberra
