One of those bands that can’t help but rub some people the wrong way, Jet is offering up K.I.A. (Killed In Action) for public consumption. It’s the first preview of the band’s forthcoming album, and is every bit a Cester creation. You can listen to it at the Jet website, while staring at burning TV sets.

With a shoutable chorus, lines like “I want to kung-fu kick you in your 4 Wheel-Drive” and the guys’ unashamed pub-rock leanings, K.I.A. isn’t going to please everyone. Jet has been hiding away in the studio recording a follow-up to Shine On, surfacing to play both Melbourne and Sydney Sound Relief concerts. Here they are getting the hands waving with Look What You’ve Done.
