Fireballs to burn it up at TheHi Fi
Sat 11th Apr, 2009 in Local News
The yet-to-be-experienced The Hi Fi in West End will host seminal Melbourne psychobilly band Fireballs as they blaze through town for the first time since their 2005 reunion after an eight year hiatus. Original members Eddie Fury (drums and lead vocals) and Joe Phantom (double bass) have recruited double the trouble in Dylan Villain and Pete Speed – both on guitar – to replace Matt Black.
Along with the new lineup, Fireballs have a new album in the works – one which promises (as always) to put the metal into rockabilly. Catch them on Saturday 23 May with Dreamkillers and Spitfireliar.
