One Movement for music Perth

The new international music festival and industry summit, set down for October 16-18, will run multiple stages for 80 artists as part of a dedicated conference and showcasing event.

For over two days on Perth’s picturesque Esplanade, emerging and export-ready bands will be performing for the crowds and industry bods alike. The lineup will include 30 international acts from destinations such as Asia, Europe and the Americas, as well as 50 up-and-coming (if not already arrived) Australian acts.

A major aim for the event – aside from rocking hard – is to pioneer inroads into largely untapped Asia Pacific markets, with much of the action taking shape in a series of comprehensive keynote speeches and discussions for – œmusic industry players of the future’.

In addition to the conference and gigs on the Esplanade, a One Movement Fringe Festival will see music spill on to the streets of Perth’s CBD with a free program of live music performances in public spaces throughout the city.

A website set up for One Movement For Music Perth provides punters with to up-to-date music industry news, an industry blog, fan news and a breakdown of information on the two-day festival.
