Without doubt the highlight in the capital this week was the Midnight Oil shows on Thursday and Friday nights. But that’s not all we had.
Early in the week hard-core band Break Even played to a very eager all ages crowd at Tuggeranong Youth Centre last week, check out our gallery here.
The other highlight of the week was the Birds Love Fighting mini-festival, Honey I Shrunk The Kinds in O’Connor. Hit the forum and tell us about it if you were there!
This week the boys at Friction & Lexington Music announced the date for this years Warehouse Winter Music Festival, this year is promised to be bigger and better than 2008. Keep your eyes peeled for the line-up details here at FL soon!
Something With Numbers thrilled the ANU crowd on Thursday night, check out our review here.
Midnight Oil left us with no doubt that they are still incredibly talented musicians and Peter Garrett wowed the crowd with his voice, passion and dance moves. Check out our complete coverage with the gallery and review.
And as always Bar 32 was crawling with Canberra’s indie crowd at REV and Shakedown at the weekend.
This week get along to some great shows including Downsyde and Drapht at ANU on Thursday, Muph & Plutonic on Saturday at Transit as well as the wonderful C.W Stoneking on Saturday night.
