It’s all about Yeah Yeah Yeahs this week. First we premiered the video for the trio’s new single Zero, then we turned a critical eye to the forthcoming album It’s Blitz.

All that’s left now is for the pop chameleons to grant us a tour. FasterLouder was lucky enough to get YYYs drummer Brian Chase on the phone yesterday, and he hinted strongly at a visit in 2009. “It’s very, very likely,” Brian conceded. “I think that’s all I can say.”

The skinsman could, however, be a little more expressive about the band’s formidable live show. “When YYY play live, there are moments where we stretch it out, especially with Nick Zinner, [guitarist],” Brian continued. “Nick is just an amazing noisemaker and there are definitely moments where we move into more experimental territory.”
