With a well-earned reputation for rollicking live shows, The Gin Club is set to journey along the east coast this March and April. This tour will be the band’s last before it sets off for Europe to record a new arsenal of songs.
The Gin Club’s 2008 album Junk was followed by bookings at festivals as divergent as Big Day Out and Woodford Folk Festival. These upcoming dates will cap off a heady summer. Says frontman Ben Salter in the press spiel: “After our busiest and most successful 12 months yet, we’re hoping our fans both old and new can come and give the Club a triumphant send off before we embark on adventures over the sea.”
Give The Gin Club a warm farewell at the following venues, with support from Texas Tea.
Friday 20th March – Yandina Club, Sunshine Coast
Saturday 21st March – The Zoo, Brisbane
Thursday 2nd April – The Karova Lounge, Ballarat
Friday 3rd April – East Brunswick Hotel, East Brunswick
Saturday 4th April – The Hopetoun Hotel, Sydney
Sunday 5th April – The Brass Monkey, Cronulla
