Le Kingste win G2V NSW final

There could only be one winner from the hotly-contested NSW final of Garage 2 V – and that winner is – œdark pop’ trio Le Kingste. The polished live band went up against stiff competition from Washington, My Name 4 Your Name and Former Child Stars at Sydney’s Hopetoun Hotel last night.
Le Kingste have won themselves a spot on the Virgin Mobile stage at the Sydney leg of V Festival – playing to just a few more people than can fill the Hopetoun!
They also progress to the G2V National Final at Oxford Art Factory on Thursday 19 March. The overall victor from that final will of course tour nationally with V Festival, playing on one of the mainstages. A hearty congratulations to all the NSW finalists – it was an evening of damn fine music.
