Fire & Flood sells out inminutes

Well aren’t we a keen bunch here in Brisbane, with tickets to next Friday’s Fire and Flood charity event selling out in minutes this morning.

The concert proceeds will go to The Red Cross Victorian Bush Fire Appeal and The Queensland Premier’s Flood Disaster Relief Appeal to help those affected by the recent environmentally-driven tragedies in both states.

Featuring Powderfinger, The Grates, Robert Forster, The John Steel Singers, The Boat People and Dan Parsons, the unprecedented response to the event has wowed the promoters an artists alike, Brisbane’s overwhelming support for those in ther greatest hours of need demonstrating the ongoing willingness of all to help however they can.
