Sideshows for Snow Patrol

V Festival headliners Snow Patrol will be swinging from heartstrings at three headline shows this March/April. The band released its fifth album, A Hundred Million Suns late last year, earning plenty of favourable reviews. “We definitely didn’t want to repeat ourselves – we made a conscious decision to go somewhere else,” guitarist Nathan Connolly told FL at the time. “So many of the songs are completely new territory for us.”

Snow Patrol’s Australian tour in 2007 saw them playing arenas, so these upcoming shows are a chance to see the guys in slightly less cavernous surrounds. They’ll be joined by fellow V Festival drawcard Jenny Lewis, who formerly fronted LA indie heroes Rilo Kiley.

Snow Patrol politely invite you to these three V Festival sideshows. Tickets on sale Monday 23 February, so make sure to form a sincere and orderly queue.
