East Coast Bluefest bulks up

Following on from the second lineup announcement of its Western sister, the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival has invited more stars to the party. One name is sure to turn heads: time-honoured legend Booker T Jones. The man will be backed by the Drive-By Truckers, who’ll also play their own set.

Also filling out the cast-list of veterans and upstarts alike are Jason Mraz, Xavier Rudd, Paul Kelly, CW Stoneking and James Hunter. Bluesfest settles in to Belongil Fields, Byron Bay, on the Easter Long Weekend in April.
