G2V winners Little Red rompinto Hottest 100

Congratulations to last years Garage2V winners, Little Red for coming 47th in this year’s Triple J hottest 100. The five crooners that hail from Melbourne have gone from strength to strength after winning last year’s Garage2V, Playing at the V Festival and meeting the man himself, Sir Richard Branson.

The single Coca Cola from their first album won them their place in the highly esteemed hottest 100 and was just the icing on the cake to an amazing whirlwind of a year. The band were over the moon whilst celebrating their place at Melbourne’s Big Day Out. “If we hadn’t won Garage2V last year who knows, none of this might have happened,” they said. “The competition really did give us a massive confidence boost especially when it came to performing to large crowds. We would highly recommend any up and coming bands enter Garage2V and taking their chances.”
