The Kills here for V Festival?

With a sound that’s built for dancing, no-nonsense duo The Kills may well be paying us a visit for V Festival 2009. The band has published Australian dates on its website for March/April, giving us hope we’ll be partying with them in the open air. Their rollicking live show would be an injection of unabashed fun amongst the more subdued likes of Snow Patrol and Elbow.

Our last encounter with The Kills was in 2005 for Meredith, and their star has only risen with last year’s Midnight Boom. It’s high time for an encore. Stay tuned to FL for updates.

Good stuff. Last time I saw them was a few years ago when they did that double bill with Hot Hot Heat. Sadly I really liked HHH back then and was dissing The Kills
