We all know V Festival is the only place to catch The Killers, but some of the line-up’s other stars will be doing sideshows. Sure to inspire the most feverish rush for tickets is the lager-raising double-bill of Kaiser Chiefs and Razorlight. Expect a hearty English ex-pat contingent to contend for space with the bands’ Australian fans.

Then there’s Mercury Prize victors Elbow in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, plus nu-soul starlet Duffy in a one-off evening at Sydney Opera House. All shows go on sale Thursday 5 February, so you best look lively.
