Week on Fasterlouder Jan14-22
Tue 27th Jan, 2009 in Local News
Kicking off the second half of January saw Will Stoker and the Embers’ residency in the Hydey Lounge Room take on a distinctly metallic edge when they hosted Pyromesh and Nexus as reviewed by goatlady who had more fun than she expected to. The night was captured for your viewing delight by wombo.
Next up we gave you an eyeful of Bon Iver courtesy of TimDavis with thoughts on paper by benjiswan.
Stuo and ashryn got crafty at the Bakery’s Cut & Paste 6 launch, and NicOwen had some words to share on the last Wiley gig before the tour was cancelled for personal reasons. Stewby brought home these picturesque goodies
Goatlady wrote about Whitechapel and Jeifer wore two hats to the Ascent gig providing both the review and the photos. Not bad for the new guy!
DigitalJunglist has made Manifesto manifest in your computer screens, also whilst wearing a hat on each head, while two more newbies, rjeffos and Pinkledoo gave it a bash and came out smiling after Abbe May did Sex Panther.
Raciroo loved The Waifs and Stewby has this gallery for you.
A last minute venue change, and improvement, gave Jeifer this much fun
at the Jeff Beck concert, While DigitalJunglist performed an admirable feat getting this gallery in the space of only two songs, despite not being permitted to enjoy the rest of the gig once his shooting work was over.
Again, goatlady was out adventuring with this report on Bleeding Through backed up with this stunning gallery of destruction thanks to Stu907
There’s more to come next week, with BDO, Cinema Prague, WAMi coverage, Something in the Water DVD Launch… If you want to get in on it, sign up as a contributor today!
