Jeff Beck Moves to ConcertHall
Fri 16th Jan, 2009 in Local News
Jeff Beck is the guy Rolling Stone ranked 14th in their “100 Greatest Guitarists of all Time” poll, crediting him with helping to shape blues rock, psych rock and metal. Last time he was in the country it was 1977, so it’s probably the last chance you’ll have to see him play guitar live.
Due to an unexpected change in tour production arrangements, Jeff Beck’s Perth Show has been moved from Challenge Stadium and will now be at Perth Concert Hall one night earlier, on Thursday 22nd Jan. Despite the hassle of changing tickets over, fans and music lovers should be pleased with this development, considering that the Concert Hall was made for concerts and Challenge was made for basketball, and the acoustic requirements of the one do not equal the other.
If you have tickets already, you will need to take them to one of the BOCS outlets below to exchange your seating allocation for one relevant to the Concert Hall. Exchanges will only be available from these outlets:
Perth Concert Hall (Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm)
His Majesty’s Theatre (Mon-Sat 9.00am-5.30pm)
Playhouse Theatre (Mon-Fri 10.00am-4.00pm)
Subiaco Arts Centre (Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm)
Octagon Theatre (Mon-Fri 12.00pm-4.00pm)
If you can’t make the Thursday night, you will need to return your tickets to Ticketmaster by 5pm Wednesday 21st Jan. If you couldn’t make the Friday, but can make it on Thursday then you’re in luck, because you can buy tickets from BOCS (any BOCS)
