2008 was quite a year for Children Collide. They finally released their debut album The Long Now, supported The Living End on their national tour and embarked on their own sojourn around Australia to promote the first single off their album, Social Currency.

To keep up the pace they are kicking of 2009 with the release of their second single Farewell Rocketship. The track, which reveals a much softer side to the three-piece, is described as “…an escapist daydream where the world has become too much and fleeing is the only option.

FasterLouder is chuffed to be premiering the film clip for the new single – which it turns out is just as quirky as the song itself. The clip was filmed by by Simon Rippingale and Louis Pratt with a little bit of help from third year Enmore Design school students. It truly is a bizarre clip that stars drummer Ryan as giant and bassist Heath as a mad scientist.
