Machine Gun Fellatio have announced details of a national tour in support of current album On Ice. These shows will be the band’s first without co-vocalist the Widow Jones, who recently left the band.
The 2005 tour will be much more extensive than the band’s launch shows for On Ice, and includes several regional shows as well as a spot at the Cockatoo Island Festival, alongside Gomez et al.
If you missed the band’s last shows, you missed on-stage pillow fights, a giant screen projecting images of drummer Bryan Ferrysexual to the crowd, industrial strength fans, and a fantastic selection of tracks drawn from the band’s three albums. Does that sound like something you should be missing? Didn’t think so.
