FasterLouder is looking for a new State Editor for Brisbane. We’re seeking passionate, focused, communicators with strong organisational and writing skills. The role will see you managing our Brisbane contributors, editing stories, updating local news, maintaining the Brisbane gig guide and photo galleries, assisting in on ground marketing activities, maintaining strong relationships with local Brisbane promoters and being out and about as the face of Brisbane FasterLouder.

You would work closely with FL HQ to maintain and grow a strong FL community in Brisbane. It is not a full time position, but does require dedication and passion.

This extremely rare opportunity will suit a people person with incredible drive, energy, personality and desire to succeed. It’s the ideal role for someone who wants to kick-start their career in music journalism and promotions.

Preferably you will have experience with the FasterLouder site and be an active member (however we will consider applicants who are not).You will have strong published writing experience, be highly organised and impeccable oral communication skills. The right candidates will have a wide circle of friends and strong local industry knowledge and contacts. The role is currently part time (roughly one day a week) and offers excellent opportunities for career progression.
