Big Day Out punters looking for a taste of Fantomas this summer will be in for an unexpected treat. It can be revealed that Mr Patton and cohorts will be playing their universally revered album The Director’s Cut from start to finish at the festival and sideshows alongside Serj Tankian.

The Director’s Cut is composed entirely of covers that acts as a viewing glass to the the brilliance of cinematic scores from the – œ50s through to the – œ90s. Punters who are new to the Fantomas experience can expect to hear the familiar scores of The Godfather, Twin Peaks and The Omen and prepare for a Big Day Out set that will be talked about for a time to come.
