If the first line-up announcement for St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, which included Pitch-fork pets Jay Reatard and Girltalk, did it for you – then the second announcement is guaranteed to flip your skirt.
Rusko is so hot right now everyone from Santogold to Diplo have been dipping their fingers in his musical pie. He will be bringing his cockney dubstep downunder in March to share some of his heat with Laneway crowds.
The local line-up has also been knocked up a notch with the inclusion of Australia’s own rock n roll poet Glen Richards and his merry men, better known as Augie March. Melbourne’s bands to watch Luluc and Kes Band are also on the bill.
St Jerome’s Laneway Additions:
Augie March (Bris/Melb/Perth),
Yves Klein Blue (Bris/Syd/Melb/Ade)
Rusko (Bris/Melb/Syd)
