Muscles dropped fromNevereverland
Tue 2nd Dec, 2008 in Local News
Another day, another controversy… Fresh from his recent MySpace Music rant, electro pop posterboy Muscles has had another vent on his blog, voicing frustration at being dropped from the line-up for Modular’s upcoming 10th birthday celebration tour Nevereverland.
“My record label calls my mobile phone last week and says, – œWe’re downsizing and can’t afford to have – œMuscles’ on our Nevereverland 2008 lineup anymore’,” the blog entry begins. “For everyone who bought tickets to come and see MUSCLES, call up Ticketmaster/Ticketek to receive a refund.”
He’s not without pity, however we’re not entirely sure if he’s being tongue in cheek… as it is quite likely Modular will take offense when they find themselves compared to a mutant house pet. “They apparently are not selling many tickets, I feel sorry for them. Like I feel sorry for a blind three-legged conjoined-twin kitten.”
“So if you’re not sick of seeing Cut Copy and The Presets play every festival the past 2 years, just go,” Muscles summarises, before sticking the knife in one last time… “It’s only $99!” We haven’t seen such bitter blog ramblings since Kanye’s legendary – œsquid brain’ tirade earlier this year!
