Their new album might be called Intimacy, but Bloc Party proved they know how to do it ‘big’ in November. Kicking the tour off with back-to-back nights in Melbourne, the London lads wound up their ten-day run in Perth on Sunday.
FasterLouder’s reviewers in each state were unanimous in their praise. “Bloc Party do what they do extremely well, and their sound has proven scalable from domestic clubs to international arenas within three short years,” wrote Brisbane’s NiteShok. Set-lists across the tour left little room for disappointment, with the Intimacy inclusions standing up against tried-and-tested crowd-pleasers like Banquet and Helicopter.
FL was on the ground at each show to document the madness, so you can check out what went down in other cities right here.
