The irrepressible Ryan Adams has earned a near-mythic reputation for his live shows, and he’s set to remind us why in January 2009. Having already built a formidable back catalogue, Adams and his band The Cardinals have just released one of their finest combined efforts, Cardinology. FasterLouder’s reviewer Matt Carr wrote: “The great strength of the Cardinals is that the gifted songwriter in Adams is complemented by a sensational band.”
The man last visited Australia in 2007, playing sprawling and prodigious live shows. With The Cardinals behind him, his return visit is sure to be a rousing affair.
